about

My journey into the world of architecture began at the tender age of 10, sparked by a serendipitous discovery in the Ogden, UT library. There, I immersed myself in a collection of works by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose innovative spirit and boundary-pushing designs ignited my imagination. This early fascination led me to sketch my own home designs, a passion that blossomed into a career. By 18, I was collaborating with a local contractor while pursuing my undergraduate studies, ultimately founding a successful design firm that had designed nearly 100 homes by the time I graduated.

In the early 1990s, I sought to transform the architectural landscape of Utah, moving away from the ubiquitous stucco and gabled styles to embrace a 1930s Arts & Crafts aesthetic that celebrates open spaces and natural materials. My design philosophy is a tapestry woven from diverse architectural influences, reflecting my travels and experiences around the globe, while always prioritizing the unique visions of my clients. I strive to create homes that resonate with historical depth and mid-century modern elegance, steering clear of the 1990s "McMansion" trend.

With over 25 years of experience, my team and I have successfully completed thousands of projects across Utah and beyond, earning a reputation for innovation, responsiveness, and exceptional service.

What distinguishes us:

• A Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Utah, with a focus on residential design.
